Influenced by Kandinski, The Fauves, and Van Gogh, Pecoff's works will take the breath away from any spectator, regardless
of their artistic taste. His canvases are filled with rich vibrant colours, defined by crisp clear lines which almost seems
as if you're in some sort of hyper-reality like dream state... Pecoff's viewpoint of his subjects are stunningly romantic
yet real, thus a spectator is forced to imagine him/herself in the canvas' reality.
Grant Pecoff is a native San Diegan, and a rising star in the international art community. Personally, I admire his inspirations
and worldview which seems to communicate to me so naturally through his canvases. A quote from the artist...
"Art is what you feel in your heart and your soul. If it makes an impact on you, an emotion, an expression, then
take a look at that and try it on… and realize you just had a conversation with a piece of art."
Grant Pecoff will be holding an exhibition in Toronto between Sept. 22 and Oct. 30 at the Blue Dot Gallery in the historical
Distillery district.
Also, there will be a gallery opening celebrating his exhibition this Thursday, Sept. 22 at the Blue Dot Gallery.
